Our Mission
At Kidz Fighting Cancer, we are dedicated to providing support by supplying educational resources to children and their families who are battling cancer. Our mission is to create an educational and fun online space that helps children cope with the challenges they face during their cancer journey. We believe that no child should have to fight alone, and we are here to provide the love, care, and resources they need to overcome this difficult time. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these brave kids.

Kidz Fighting Cancer: Spreading Awareness One Step at a Time
Kidz Fighting Cancer is back and making waves! After winning the Calvin Johnson Outstanding Young Catalyst Award at the 2023 GHC summit, they returned to the 2024 event held at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University - Bloomberg Center in Washington D.C. to share their incredible progress. They've been busy spreading the message by presenting at the London Global Cancer Week and joining the Young Global Health Catalyst Clubs Program. They've also hosted awareness events for different cancers and launched their website, KidZFightingCancer.com, filled with educational activities and games to help kids learn about cancer. Looking ahead, they plan to keep the website updated, create a Youtube channel, and develop a mascot. But they can't do it alone! Kidz Fighting Cancer welcomes collaboration and encourages everyone to join the fight against cancer, even by simply sharing their website or educating others. Let's all be part of the solution!

At the London Global Cancer Week, Kidz Fighting Cancer advocated for the critical importance of including children in the fight against cancer, bringing global awareness and hope to all affected. They highlighted that most resources and programs focus on adults, with even pediatric cancer resources often directed towards parents. This leaves the burden of disseminating information to children on caregivers. Kidz Fighting Cancer served as a powerful voice for children worldwide, urging adults to remember that kids need specialized resources tailored just for them.
